Family Paws Parent Education
Welcome to Family Paws Parent Educations, Dogs & Storks and Dog & Baby Connection Programs. Please read this link http://familypaws.com/our-programs/ for more information about these program.
My aims for the Family Paws Parent Education here in Australia is to reduce the amount of dogs ending up in rescues due to the lack of education offered to parents when expecting a baby or when a baby or toddler is already in the home and problems start to arise with their faithful dog. The rates of dogs ending up in shelters due to these issues is on the rise and if we can bring in a program that can help support and educate parents before baby is born on how to work with both baby and dog within the family unit then this will in time reduce the amount of dogs ending up in shelters or being euthanased.
My second aim as a breeder, trainer, educator and presenter is to also educate as many families as I can to reduce the amount of dog bites and deaths that we see in Australia. I believe the Family Paws Parent Education Program and the Doggone Safe, USA “Be a Tree Presenter” is a must here in Australia.
I will add dog bite statistics to this page shortly.
If you would be interested in a presentation please contact Adele on firstname.lastname@example.org. Presentations will start in July 2013.
